Since July 2023, AusCheck has been working with industry on issuing body reform to the ASIC and MSIC schemes and transition to the AusCheck Issuing Body.
As more ASIC and MSIC issuing bodies transition to AusCheck, more people will apply or renew, their staff who need an ASIC or MSIC with AusCheck.
Cardholders, their employers and facility operators will be informed by AusCheck before their issuing body transitions to AusCheck and will be supported through the transition.
NOTE: Currently, the AusCheck Issuing Body will only issue a card for holders of cards issued by Canberra and Adelaide Airports or applicants that require access to these facilities who would usually apply through the Canberra Airport and Adelaide Airport Issuing Bodies.
Employees of federal, state, territory and local government agencies will continue to use the AusCheck Issuing Body and can find out more information at
ASIC and MSIC for Government agencies.
