Since July 2023, AusCheck has been working with industry on issuing body (IB) reform to the ASIC and MSIC schemes.
Applying for an ASIC or MSIC with the AusCheck Issuing Body
The AusCheck Issuing Body can only issue a card to the following applicants:
- existing cardholders with cards issued by Canberra and Adelaide Airports
- applicants that need access to these facilities who previously would have applied directly through Canberra and Adelaide Airports.
Applicants should continue to apply for an ASIC or MSIC as per existing procedures until their IB transitions to AusCheck if the above does not apply to them.
Digital ID
AusCheck utilises an online Applicant Portal where applicants and cardholders will apply for, manage or cancel their ASIC or MSIC. To access the Applicant Portal, you will need a myID Digital ID.

Sign in to the Applicant Portal using your Digital ID and apply for an ASIC or MSIC.
