About ASICs and MSICs
You may need an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) if you need unsupervised access to secure areas of Australia's:
- airports
- seaports
- offshore oil or gas facilities.
ASICs and MSICs are identification cards, not access cards. They don't give the holder the right to access secure areas or zones without permission.
